Comments - Interesting decorative envelope featuring a woodblock panoramic view of Inariyama or Mt. Inari in Kyoto, home of Fushimi Inari Shrine. Several of the many shrine buildings are depicted, separated by bands of clouds. Known as pochibukuro, these small envelopes were used for gifts of money presented at New Year's and other celebrations. A nicely detailed, unusual item.
