Series; Summer and Winter in Kyoto
Summer: The Eve of Gion Festival - Seasons in Kyoto - Charming shin-hanga design from a rarely seen series of eight prints by Nisaburo Ito depicting Kyoto during the four seasons. The series was released in two folios titled "Spring and Autumn in Kyoto" and "Summer and Winter in Kyoto," each containing two prints for each season. Published by Uchida in Kyoto, these attractive designs provide a wonderful look at Kyoto throughout the year. Paper watermarked Uchida in bottom margin, with publisher's seal within image.
