Jun'ichi Nakahara - Great portrait of a seated young woman, her large eyes a hallmark of designs by Jun'ichi Nakahara, whose work prefigured modern manga. Nakahara was a well-known illustrator and fashion designer who did many covers for women's magazines, and published his own shojo (young woman) magazine called "Himawari" from 1947 - 1952. A great subject for a collector interested in manga.
