Drill of the French and English Troops, 1867 - Unusual triptych by Yoshitoshi showing British and French troops engaged in military training exercises at Yokohama. British infantry are lined up at right foreground, with cavalry on the left. Cannon fire from the hilltop at right, sending clouds of smoke billowing over the French troops in blue on the grounds below. An intriguing Yokohama scene with wonderful detail. A great choice for a student of military history.

Image Size - 14 1/8" x 28 3/8" + margins as shown

Condition - Good color and detail. Horizontal centerfold, vertical centerfold in center panel. Slight thinning at edges, a few holes, repaired. Light creasing throughout.
