A Fuji Arts Special Offer Auction

The Great Battle of Yashima, 1876 - Great depiction of Shin Chunagon Tomomori (Taira no Tomomori) standing on the deck of his ship during the Battle of Yashima against the Minamoto clan. He grips a spear with both hands, scowling angrily as dozens of arrows fly past. He wears a white tunic with the butterfly crest of the Taira clan over his armor and a red robe, a butterfly adorning his cap as well. A lively design with wonderful detail.
