Daimyo Gesturing at a Ship in the Distance, 1878 - Interesting scene of a daimyo sitting on a folding stool at the shore, gesturing with his fan at a sail on the horizon far in the distance. He wears a geometric print vest over armor and purple print pants, and a black cap. A retainer kneels at his side with a spear in hand, while other samurai watch from the right.
