Comments - Interesting depiction of a military display in Nagoya, with army troops firing a cannon in the foreground. At left, an officer directs the soldiers, thrusting his sword straight out before him, while behind him, a general sits astride a horse. The scene takes place outside Nagoya Castle, the stone ramparts stretching across the background. An unusual subject.

Artist - Hirokuni (active Meiji era)

Image Size - 9 1/2" x 14" + margins as shown

Condition - Good color and detail. Creasing throughout.
