From cherry blossom viewing or taking a winter stroll to arranging flowers or playing music, these charming images offer a wonderful look at life in Japan during the Meiji era. Some designs feature deluxe printing techniques such as burnishing, embossing, or accents of metallic pigment. A lovely beauty series by Shuntei Miyagawa, rarely seen.
