Tokugawa Hidetada and Mother with Child - Fantastic design from collaborative series by various artists depicting scenes around Tokyo, comprised of two different images per page. In the bottom image by Kunichika, a mother holds her infant by a lantern, while a man behind her stokes the flames of a fire, smoke rising behind her. In the top image by Kyosai, the daimyo Tokugawa Hidetada points with a folded fan while his retainers attend him. An intriguing combination of designs, carefully detailed and nicely colored.
