Bando Hikosaburo V as a Miuranosuke, 1863

Comments - Handsome kabuki portrait of Bando Hikosaburo V Miruranosuke standing outside a garden gate, dressed for hunting. He holds his hat above his head in the falling snow as he looks over his shoulder with a frown, gripping his bow with his other hand. He wears spotted deerskin chaps, a red brocade arm protector, and straw sandals. A nicely detailed design with an interesting setting.

Image Size - 14 3/8" x 9 3/4" + margins as shown

Condition - Good detail. A few small repairs, light creasing at edges.
