Comments - Charming scene depicting the courtesans of the House of the Golden Vase enjoying a variety of amusements in their free time. At lower right, a woman trims a flower stem with a pair of scissors as she arranges flowers in a low vase on a stand. Two companions watch with interest, the woman at left holding an ornate pipe. Landscape scrolls hang in an alcove behind the women. An attractive design with wonderful detail in the setting.
