Treasure Storehouse of the Seven Lucky Gods, 1880

Comments - Terrific image of the Seven Lucky Gods in their storehouse filled with treasure. At bottom center, Daikoku and a young child hold open a bag filled with money as Ebisu dumps a basketful of money on the floor beside them. At upper right, Fukurokujin leans over an abacus counting up sums from a ledger. At left, Hotei drags a bag of treasures while behind him, young children carry a basket of money. At top center, the room opens onto a view of with storehouses at left and Mt. Fuji in the distance. A charming design with wonderful detail. The first time we've seen this Chikanobu triptych.

Image Size - 13 7/8" x 27 5/8" + margin as shown
