Comments - Handsome triptych depicting a pair of shirabyoshi dancers performing before the ladies of the Imperial Court. The women move gracefully across a stage in the foreground, with musicians at left and two dancers in butterfly costumes waiting at the side. Wonderful detail in the elegant interior setting and clothing, including accents of metallic pigment that have oxidized to a darker tone.
