Comments - Handsome view of Minamoto no Yoshinaka on a dappled horse surveying enemy troops moving through the countryside. From his perch atop a hill at left, a wide expansive of foothills stretches out before him, with rugged mountains at right. The banners and standards of his enemies can be seen above the hilltops, winding through the low mountains and around the highest peak at right. A village lines the shore of a lake at lower right, and clouds drift across the scene. A great panoramic design, wonderfully detailed.
