Series; A Present-day Suikoden

Bando Hikosaburo V as Shinozaki no Masakichi, 1862 - Fantastic kabuki design featuring Bando Hikosaburo as the rogue Shinozaki no Masakichi. The warrior steadfastly faces two sharpened bamboo poles thrust at him, blocking the blows with his own bamboo pole. He wears a fantastic kimono patterned with a scaly gray dragon clutching a sacred jewel in its claws above crashing waves. His hair flows wildly around his face, a dotted cloth tied around his forehead. A bold composition, beautifully detailed with fine line work in the hair.

Artist - Toyokuni III/Kunisada (1786 - 1864)

Image Size - 14 1/4" x 9 7/8" + margins as shown

Condition - Good detail. A couple creases at edges.
