Comments - Charming triptych featuring all of the famous Eight Views of Omi, a popular subject for woodblock print artists, featuring specific landscapes and weather conditions in Omi Province. At lower right, a group of women passes over an arched wooden bridge, one of the beauties waving her fan as a farm girl approaches leading an ox laden with brush wood. At lower left, beauties fish from three boats. At upper left, a temple is built out over the side of Ishiyama mountain. At upper right, geese descend at Katada. The first time we've seen this attractive panoramic landscape design.
