Courtesan at New Year's - Charming portrait of a courtesan standing beside a traditional New Year's Day decoration of bamboo and pine. She looks over her shoulder with a smile as she pulls up her outer kimono, which features a dragon on the sleeve and yellow flowering pheasant's eye plants near the geometric border at the hem. An attractive design.
