Series; Waterfall-striped Materials in Answer to Earnest Prayer

Matsunaga Daizen at Kinkakuji, circa 1845 - Charming scene of a beauty holding a child on her lap as she squeeze a toy that shoots up a spurt of water. The baby grabs hold of the mother's sleeve, trying to reach for the toy. An inset surrounded by a simulated black lacquer frame shows the samurai Matsunaga Daizen in front of the waterfall at Kinkakuji (The Golden Pavilion). An attractive and interesting design from a rarely seen Kuniyoshi beauty series.

Condition - Nice detail. Wormhole and a couple small holes on background, repaired. A few creases, a couple small indented marks.
