Morning Mist at Komagata, 1846

Comments - Attractive scene of a beauty walking through the early morning mist at Komagata, the buildings in gray silhouette behind her. She leans forward holding a red cloth with both hands, a blue and white cloth caught between her teeth. A palanquin bearer approaches from the opposite direction, and a dog sniffs about at right. An interesting design.

Artist - Kuniyoshi (1797 - 1861)

Image Size - 14 5/8" x 9 7/8" + margins as shown

Condition - Good detail. Folds at corners. A few small repairs and creases.
