Cherry Blossom Viewing in the Garden

Comments - Charming scene of three beauties on their way to a cherry blossom viewing party in the garden of an elegant mansion. The woman in the center carries a shamisen over her shoulder and a basin of water with small cups floating in it. Her two companions each carry covered wooden buckets, the beauty at right wearing a red apron over a blue kimono patterned with leaves. Several women can be seen outside the mansion at upper right, enjoying the garden surrounding a lake. An attractive spring subject, the blue sky framed with pink and white cherry flowering cherry trees.

Condition - Good detail. Small losses and thinning at edges, repaired. Vertical fold at side of each panel, light creasing throughout.
