Comments - Lovely kakemono or vertical diptych of a beauty writing a poem slip as she stands beneath a blossoming cherry tree, petals and flowers drifting down over her against a clear blue sky. She wears a gray kimono with a design of yellow swirls and stylized blossoms trimmed with a pink cherry blossom print and an olive green tie-dyed fabric. She pauses for a moment, looking up thoughtfully with her brush in hand. A charming spring subject.
