Series; The Mirror of Today's Pictures
Mirror of Today's Pictures - Handsome design from Kunisada's series "Mirror of Today's Pictures," which features portraits of kabuki actors as reflected in oval mirrors with elegant black lacquer frames. Pieces of tie-dyed and print fabrics are tucked around the edges of each frame, with confetti-like dots scattered across the background and a verse above. These expressive figures are beautifully detailed, with fine line work in the hair. A seldom-seen kabuki series in an interesting format.

The first time we've offered this expressive figure.
