From an untitled series of actors in mirrors - Handsome head and shoulders portrait from an untitled series presenting actors as reflected in oval black lacquer mirrors with various pieces of cloth draped over the frames. The series dates circa 1830, so they are fairly early in Kunisada's career. He later did two other series in a similar format. Nice expressive figures, detailed with fine line work in the hair.

Special detail - From the play "Kihachijo Furisode-gonomi" at the Kawarazaki Theater in Edo.

Condition - Nice detail. Backed with somewhat stiff paper. Wormholes, some prints have losses, repaired.
