Comments - Interesting kabuki scene of a courtesan eavesdropping on a couple in a room. She stands in the hallway with her head tilted, a sweet smile on her face and a roll of tissues in her hand. Inside, a commoner looks up with an angry grimace as he holds the end of his companion's long purple kimono over his shoulders, the edge of the blue and white cloth draped over his head caught between his teeth. The beauty at right smiles slyly as she looks up out of the corners of her eyes. The window behind them opens up to the softly shaded night sky. A handsome design with nice detail in the interior setting.
