Beauty Returning from a Bath

Comments - Attractive kakemono or vertical diptych of a beauty returning from a bath, pausing to look down over her shoulder as she holds her robe under her arm. She wears a blue kimono patterned with flowers and trimmed with a black and white print over a red under robe, tied with a black obi, and sandals. Her hair is pulled back into a large knot with two wings at the side tied back with a white ribbon. She wears fashionable lipstick that appears green when more thickly applied, giving her lips a two tone appearance. A classic Edo beauty portrait.
