Famous Places in Nagoya Fan Picture Collection - Interesting woodblock fan print from a series depicting famous places in Nagoya. Each design features a wealth of detail and activity, highlighting different seasons and celebrations along with noted sites. These ovoid-shaped designs were intended for uchiwa or flat fans. These Meiji era prints are based on Edo era designs by the Nagoya artist Mori Gyokusen, who also used the name Takamasa Koga. Only the second time we've seen prints from this series.
