Ultimate Clearance - $16.50 by Shiro Takagi (born 1934)

Original Shiro Takagi (born 1934) Japanese Woodblock Print
Ultimate Clearance - $16.50

Contemporary Woodblock Prints by Watanabe - Handsome design from a group of contemporary woodblocks published by the famous Watanabe Publisher of Tokyo. Watanabe commissioned contemporary artists to create designs which were printed and distributed by Watanabe to special customers only. The artists carved the blocks themselves, which Watanabe then printed on hand-made Torinoko paper. These are great designs by a variety of contemporary artists, including Fumio Fujita, who is well known for his images of trees. Subjects range from landscapes and city scenes to figures and abstract designs. A terrific choice for display, either singly or in groups.

Artist - Shiro Takagi (born 1934)

Image Size - 5 1/2" x 6 1/4" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Light crease at corner. Please see photos for details.
