Meiji Scenes - Handsome design from a group of Meiji era woodblocks by a variety of different artists, including Tanaka Gekko, Hitomi Renjo, Yamada Shokei, Kono Bairei, Yamamoto Shunkyo, and Kawabata Gyokusho. Published by Unsodo in Taisho 2 (1913), these charming designs feature soft color and subjects ranging from beauties and children to farmers and fishermen, along with some humorous scenes. An interesting group.
