Empress Jingu Attacks the Three Korean Kingdoms, 1852

Comments - Fantastic triptych depicting the legendary Empress Jingu and her troops invading Korea in the third century. Her warriors gallop across a broken bridge and ride through a roaring river, crushing the Korean warriors before them. A terrific illustration of this legendary tale with wonderful detail in the figures and weapons and a striking natural setting.
