Original Toyokuni II (1777 - 1835) Japanese Woodblock Print
Ichikawa Monnosuke

Comments - Attractive kabuki portrait of Ichikawa Monnosuke as a beauty in an interior, holding out a lacquer tray with an inkstone and brushes. She looks ahead with a wary expression as she pulls up the collar of her purple kimono with her other hand, the fabric trailing behind her bare feet. A brush lies on the floor nearby. A handsome design with a nicely detailed setting.
