Ichikawa Ebizo as a Commoner Eavesdropping

Comments - Interesting kabuki portrait of Ichikawa Ebizo as a commoner standing outside a door, scowling angrily as he eavesdrops on the conversation inside. He wears a short striped coat over a kimono patterned with gourds and blue leggings with patches on the knees, a dotted cloth wrapped around his head. He carries a large wicker basket with two slender bamboo poles in it. A nicely detailed design.

Image Size - 14 1/8" x 9 1/2"
