Series; Ladies' Etiquette Pictures

Preparing to Play Music - Charming scene of a beauty preparing to play music for her guests. She kneels at top right as a young girl sets a zither with two strings before her, a pick on her finger. The girl's kimono features tie-dyed bats. At left, a woman carries a candle on a tall stand, its red flame flickering as the beauty beside her leans forward with an eager smile. At upper right, a basket of wisteria sits atop an elegant red lacquer table. The first time we've seen this attractive design.
