Series; Eccentric Persons of Recent Times, 1860
Samurai and Shy Beauty, 1860 - Attractive kabuki scene of a young couple, the samurai handing a poem slip to a beauty as she looks down with a shy smile, holding the end of his scabbard. An elegant lacquer tobacco set decorated with cherry blossoms and plovers rest on the floor behind her, with curtains at left. Nice expressive figures.
