Sakurai the Soldier, the Iga's Revenge - Intriguing scene from the story "Vengeance at Iga Pass," a drama about Wada Shizuma and his brother-in-law Karaki Masaemon and their efforts to avenge the death of Shizuma's father at the hands of the villain Matagoro. Here, the samurai Sakurai peers around the edge of a stone castle wall, watching as another warrior runs forward to attack, a sword in each hand. An enemy lies dead on the ground and glowing oranges rays radiate from the sun as it sets beyond the hillside. A terrific composition with handsome color.
