Comments - Handsome scene of gardeners at work tending a tall pine tree. The two men are perched atop bamboo ladders as they carefully prune the spreading limbs. The trees overlook a Kyokochi Pond below, framed by dense shrubs and trees on the far shore. A wonderful scene from daily life in an unusual large format. Published by Uchida on watermarked paper with publisher's seal within image at lower right and publisher information in lower left margin.
