Comments - Interesting kabuki print featuring three characters wearing white robes and necklaces made of claws, dress typically used to depict figures from early Japanese history. The beauty holds a leafy branch over her shoulder and a tengu mask in her other hand, while the man at right has a wreath of leaves around his head. The older man at left holds a polearm with shide attached, folded paper streamers used in Shinto purification rituals. Nicely detailed with delicate cloth embossing on the white robes and the sash around the beauty's head.
