Sparrow and Bamboo

Comments - Charming kacho-e or birds and flowers print of a sparrow flying near stalks of bamboo rendered in gray and red. The background is softly shaded from blue to peach. Rarely seen in reprint. Published by Uchida with publisher's seal in lower right margin. The verse reads:

In admiration of
the ways of the Chinese
this printing process
carries a feeling for redeven into the bamboo.
