Nakamura Shikan IV as Lady Yamabuki - Charming kabuki portrait of Nakamura Shikan IV as Yamabuki gozen or Lady Yamabuki, the wife of Minamoto no Yoshinaka, holding an elegant helmet topped with a dragon figurine over an incense burners. She smiles at it lovingly as a wisp of smoke drifts up from the burner atop a slender red lacquer stand. Her purple kimono is patterned with stylized paulownia leaves and blossoms, the symbol of the Minamoto clan, and clusters of small flowers adorn her hair, which is pulled back into a long ponytail. Nicely detailed with embossing on the white kimono collar and trim, and the white areas of the helmet.
