Young Couple and Companion - Interesting kabuki scene of a young couple looking at each other as their companion watches. The beauty plays a shamisen as she smiles at her sweetheart over his shoulder. He regards her with a worried expression, an open book in his hand. The samurai at right frowns as he pushes up the sleeve of his light blue kimono trimmed with black, worn over a blue and white print robe. The background is shaded from blue to white to green. Nice expressive figures with fine line work in the hair.
