Peach Blossoms of the Doll Festival: Sawamura Tanosuke III as Hinadori, 1862 - Handsome portrait of Sawamura Tanosuke III as the young beauty Hinadori, who falls in love with a samurai without knowing that their families are enemies. Here, she leans forward with a sweet smile, her hands clasped together before her. She wears a red robe patterned with peach blossoms, clusters of small blue flowers adorning her hair. Nicely detailed with embossing on the white kimono collar and trim and soft shading on the background. The first time we've seen this design.

Condition - This print with nice detail as shown. Stitching holes at side, repaired. Slight toning and creasing, stain at edge. Please see photos for details.
