The 47 Ronin, Act 7: The Ichiriki Teahouse - Interesting depiction of Act 7 from the "Storehouse of Loyal Retainers" (Chushingura), the drama based on the true story of the 47 ronin. Here at the Ichiriki Teahouse, the leader of the ronin, Yuranosuke, looks up with a scowl as he finds the courtesan Okaru spying on him with a hand mirror as he reads a secret message about the vendetta. A pine tree frames the view, a lantern hanging from a branch. A nice small format design.
