Comments - Fantastic, complete four panel print depicting a ceremonial procession at Shiogama Shrine. Soldiers lead the way at lower left, followed by two lion dancers and groups of men wearing matching robes, along with colorful banners and floats, the participants winding their way back and forth throughout the print. At the lower right of the top diptych, shrine maidens carry wands of bells. They are the only women shown in the procession. A fascinating, rare subject with wonderful detail.
