Series; Comparisons for the Chushingura

Arashi Kanjuro I as the Farmer Yoichibei and Bando Mitsugoro IV as Ono Sadakuro, 1832 - Dramatic scene from Act 5 of the classic drama about the 47ronin, "Chushingura," of Ono Sadakuro robbing the farmer Yoichibei. Sadakuro came across Yoichibei one night on the Yamazaki Highway, and killed him and stole his money bag. Here, the villain stares ahead with an enraged frow as he holds his sword upright, the alarmed Yoichibei shouting in fright and flinging his hands out before him. A fantastic, bold design with the large figures filling the page.
