Kumasaka Chohan Fighting Ushiwakamaru at an Inn, circa 1836

Comments - Great scene of the robber Kumasaka Chohan and his gang of thieves during a fight against the young Ushiwakamaru at an inn at Akasaka Station. Chohan snarls angrily, biting his lower lip and waving his hands in the air as Ushiwakamaru's folding fan hits him in the head. He wears a furry black vest over his suit of armor and an ornate headdress with a monk's cowl around his shoulders. Behind him, fighting continues inside the inn. A terrific image with wonderful detail.
