Cherry Blossom Viewing Outing

Comments - Attractive image of a beauty on an outing to view the blossoming cherry trees. She smiles as she looks up over her shoulder, her kimono shaded from purple to lavender and decorated with peonies. At left, a rushing stream flows across the landscape, and picnickers can be seen in the distance. Toyokuni III designed the figures while Hiroshige II created the landscapes. A charming spring subject, detailed with embossing on the white kimono collar and cherry blossoms.
