Courtesan with a Floral Kimono - Attractive portrait of an elegantly dressed courtesan taking a stroll. She wears a gray kimono patterned with peonies, chrysanthemums, and cherry blossoms, and ribbons that hang loose, bordered with layers of black and brown brocade. Her geta clogs have three "teeth," identifying her as an oiran or high-ranking courtesan. A blossoming cherry tree frames the scene above a bamboo garden fence. A classic Edo era beauty portrait.
