Onoe Kikugoro V as the Geisha Ohana, 1859

Comments - Handsome kabuki portrait of Onoe Kikugoro V as the geisha Ohana in a rustic country house, adjusting her hair with one hand as she leans back, a roll of tissues caught between her teeth. She wears a plaid kimono over a red under robe tied with a tie-dyed sash, her drab green obi lying on the floor behind her. Colorful maple leaves frame the scene above. Nicely detailed with an interesting setting.

Image Size - 14 3/8" x 9 3/4" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with nice detail as shown. A few small repairs, creasing. Please see photos for details.
