Comments - Fantastic depiction of the great Battle of Okido in Oshu Province. At left, a dappled horse plunges over the side of a rocky cliff, its rider clinging to its neck as a samurai on a black horse watches. Fighting continues under a tall pine tree at right, with warriors clashing on foot and on horseback. A dramatic image filled with action, wonderfully detailed. A great samurai subject.
