Twelve Months in Tokyo Complete Set with 12 Lithographs, 1902 - Charming, complete set of the series "Twelve Months in Tokyo," which features a portrait of a beauty along with a scenic view for each month. April depicts a beauty gathering shellfish with a view of a railroad above. May includes a view of the famous Horikiri iris garden, while July depicts a beauty watching the fireworks at Ryogoku. Attractively colored with interesting compositions, these designs offer a wonderful look at life in Tokyo throughout the year. Published in Meiji 35 (1902), the set comes with the original wrapper as issued. Please note, these are lithographs, not woodblock prints.
