A Fuji Arts Special Offer Auction

The Wife of Akechi Mitsuhide - Lovely portrait of the wife of Akechi Mitsuhide hurrying through the rain, holding a hat above her head as raindrops slant past. She carries a bottle in her other hand as she looks back over her shoulder, the wind blowing loose wisps of hair around her face. Her brightly patterned kimono is trimmed with black fabric with a subtle burnished geometric design, tucked up at the waist for ease of walking. A charming design, beautifully detailed with fine line work in the hair.

Image Size - 13 7/8" x 9 3/8"
